My Story

I was introduced to the singer-songwriter genre in the early 60's while listening to my parent's record collection.  Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk, Tom Paxton, Eric Anderson and Kris Kristofferson were some of the first musicians I can remember hearing.  I was immediately hooked and soon learned to play the guitar myself.  Through the years, I have attended hundreds of concerts, music festivals and more recently, house concerts.  I have been lucky to meet and become friends with some of these singer-songwriters.  This website was created to share my love of the genre by providing Q&As about the singer-songwriter’s tools, influences and craft.
